While hiding inside from todays snowfall I am looking through photos (while updating my event website) from last March during my incredible trip to Guatemala. First venturing to see Guatemala City, then getting to know Antigua with The God’s Child Project, meeting Sandra in the San Andrez Itzoyoa area while volunteers with The God’s Child Project helped her family build a safe home. Finally traveling across the beautiful country to visit the wonderful people and animals at the Animal Conservation Reserve Guatemala.

I recently started photographing for the Boston Ski & Sports Club (BSSC) day trips, and it really is a great way to get up to the mountains you love to go to and meet great people! In addition to arranging ski trips, both day and weekend or longer, they also host great Apres Ski parties in the city so you can get to know fellow snow enthusiasts off the slopes. Yummy food, lots of people, awesome prizes, great fun! Check out their website http://www.bssc.com to learn more and follow their season on FB at their page or on mine.

This gallery features the ceremonial signing of a bill into Massachusetts law requiring health insurance agencies to provide coverage for children’s hearing aids, currently an expense of 5-10k per hearing aid every three years. Made possible by seven local Mothers featured in the gallery link here with their families, members of our Senate, Gov. Deval Patrick, Legislators, and Advocates from Children’s Hospital. These wonderful women are also involved in putting together this years Walk4Hearing event being held Oct 28th in Boston.
In October I was fortunate enough to accompany a friend to photograph a great wedding at Pine Manor College in the Chestnut Hill area. The wedding was fabulous and the wedding party and guests were really great to get to know, and to top off this hit wedding was an even more fun reception. As day turned to evening more guests arrived for a karaoke blast. See more photos in the gallery here.
Devil Went Down To Georgia
Just having celebrated Thanksgiving with my family, I am taking a lovely look back to the summer, to some fabulous projects, fun events, and great people I have met along the way. Here is a landscape I just couldn’t pass up when driving back from a swimwear shoot late summer. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

This was great fun! Some of my girls from New England School of Photography are starring in this commercial I made while attending NESOP.
Photo taken of outdoor installation at Flash Forward Festival Boston 2012. From ‘Dreams of Flying’ Jan von Holleben. Installation on wharf walkway at Fairmont Battery Wharf. Great series, fun shots!
Working now on designing my website on Dreamweaver. So far it has been fairly easy to use and I am happy with how it is turning out. I will have two separate websites, one for Advertising, and one for everything else, so making them different but still smoothly relating will be key for me. Let’s see how it turns out!
Check out my multimedia presentation of this year’s Harvestfest in Rockport, Ma, last Sat Oct 15th. Quaint and community driven, this festival in Rockport is fun for everyone.

Why keeping up with old friends matters « sara rasmussen.
So true, this is something that I have always struggled with, and somehow also have been able to bridge the years with some as if they were small blips of time.
This is just incredible. The designs are fabulous Kruktart!!!!!!!! Art by Charlotte Kruk.
